Saturday 5 October 2013 (1645) - Mulleys Motorways MUI 7919, working the 1615 service 355 from Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall and Beck Row, was unusually seen in The Street, Barton Mills diverted as a result of the partial closure of Fiveways Roundabout for re-designing and re-surfacing. MUI 7919 was seen about to turn from Bell Lane into The Street whilst working the 1415 service from Bury St. Edmunds. It was a Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania new to Chester City Transport as their 84 (R84 EMB) in December 1987.

Saturday 5 October 2013 (1444) - As a result of the partial closure of Fiveways Roundabout for re-designing and re-surfacing, Mulleys Motorways service 355 from Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall and Beck Row was diverted through Barton Mills village during certain October weekends. MUI 7919 was seen about to turn from Bell Lane into The Street whilst working the 1415 service from Bury St. Edmunds. It was a Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania new to Chester City Transport as their 84 (R84 EMB) in December 1987.

Monday 11 August 2014 (0950) - Mulleys Motorways MUI 7924 seen by the War Memorial in Mildenhall heading for Bury St. Edmunds when working the 0932 service 355 from Holywell Row and Beck Row. One of three Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113 CRLs that Mulleys acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles during early November 2011 which were originally new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84/85/86 (R84/85/86 EMB).

Monday 11 August 2014 (0944) - Excess surface water in College Heath Road, Mildenhall resulted in the closure of the road for a few days with traffic diverted along Field Road and North Terrace. Mulleys Motorways MUI 7924 is seen by the War Memorial as it headed for the bus station from the diversionary route - normally it would have arrived from the right of the photograph. It was working the 0932 service 355 from Holywell Row and Beck Row to Bury St Edmunds. One of three Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113 CRLs that Mulleys acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles during early November 2011 which were originally new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84/85/86 (R84/85/86 EMB).

Monday 11 August 2014 (0924) - Excess surface water in College Heath Road, Mildenhall resulted in the closure of the road for a few days with traffic diverted along Field Road. Mulleys Motorways MUI 7924 is seen heading for Beck Row when working the 0850 service 355 from Bury St Edmunds. It is one of three Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113 CRLs that Mulleys acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles during early November 2011 which were originally new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84/85/86 (R84/85/86 EMB). Following behind, also on diversion, is Coach Services of Thetford SF07 KCE, an ADL Enviro 200 bodied Dart, heading for Thetford on the 0915 service 201 from Mildenhall.

Saturday 12 July 2014 (1605) - Mulleys Motorways MUI 7949 (facing the camera) developed a fault when working the 1515 service 355 from Mildenhall to Bury St. Edmunds. M550 WTJ was brought out as a replacement and the pair are seen here by the turn from the A1101 to West Stow. M550 WTJ reached Bury St. Edmunds just five minutes late to work the 1615 service 355 to Mildenhall and Beck Row. Pretty good going with barely no disruption to service!

St. George’s Day, Monday 23 April 2012 (1412) - Mulleys Motorways MUI 7949 seen at Mildenhall bus station when working the 1357 service 355 from Holywell Row to Bury St Edmunds (1415 from Mildenhall) displaying my flag of St. George. One of three Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113 CRL single deckers acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles which had been new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84-86 (R84-86 EMB). R86 EMB became MUI 7949.

Wednesday 8 February 2012 (1138) - Mulleys Motorways MUI 7924 (ex R85 EMB), a Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania, seen at Bury St Edmunds with snow on the roof. This is one of three Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113 CRLs that Mulleys acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles during early November 2011 which were originally new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84/85/86 (R84/85/86 EMB).

Wednesday 25 January 2012 (1505) - A road closure for water mains works near the Rose and Crown, Beck Row meant that Mulleys Motorways service 355 could not use Aspal Lane. As a result the service had to travel along Holmsey Green in both directions and turn round at the pub where MUI 7919 (ex R84 EMB) is seen. This was one of three Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113CRL buses acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles (R84/85/86 EMB) which had been new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84/85/86.

Saturday 4 May 2013 (0952) – Unusually Mulleys Motorways MUI 7919 was assigned to the town service M44/M55 today as a result of vehicle problems elsewhere. The Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113 CRL is seen in St. Andrew’s Street North loading as the 1000 service M44. It is one of three such buses acquired from Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles during late October/early November 2011 (R84/85/86 EMB) which had been new to Chester City in December 1997 as their 84/85/86. This was previously R84 EMB.

Tuesday 15 April 2014 (1426) – Mulleys Motorways MUI 7924 passing The Three Kings pub at Fornham All Saints when working the 1415 service 355 from Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall and Beck Row. It is a Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113CRB which was new in December 1997 as Chester City Transport 85 (R85 EMB). Mulleys acquired the bus from Anglianbus, Beccles.

Tuesday 15 April 2014 (1531) – On board Mulleys Motorways Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113CRB MUI 7949 between Flempton and Lackford as it worked the 1515 service 355 from Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall and Beck Row. A sister vehicle (MUI 7924) can be seen travelling in the opposite direction as it worked the 1515 departure from Mildenhall back to Bury. Both were new in December 1997 to Chester City Transport, MUI 7924 as their number 85 (R85 EMB) and MUI 7949 as number 86 (R86 EMB). Mulleys acquired three such buses from Anglianbus, Beccles – the third was MUI 7919 new to Chester as their 84 (R84 EMB). Note the Chester fleet number 86 on the front panel.

Tuesday 15 April 2014 (1525) – Mulleys Motorways MUI 7949 travelling through Fornham All Saints when working the 1515 service 355 from Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall and Beck Row. It is a Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied Scania L113CRB which was new in December 1997 as Chester City Transport 86 (R86 EMB). Mulleys acquired the bus from Anglianbus, Beccles. Note the bench outside the church which has '2000' carved as the backrest.
