Thursday 12 November 2015 (1238) – A plain white Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart MPD seen in Olney. It is Vale Travel of Milton Keynes Y358 HMY which had just arrived at the 1149 service 37 from Wolverton – eight minutes late. It was new to Metrobus in March 2001 as their number 358.

Thursday 24 September 2015 (1138) – Go-Ahead owned H C Chambers and Son Limited 1511 (YN55 PZP), an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD new to Metrobus (also Go-Ahead owned) in February 2006. It was operating the 1119 service 754 from Sudbury to Colchester and had just crossed the bridge over the River Stour which forms the boundary between the counties of Suffolk and Essex. Bures St. Mary (Suffolk) is in the background and Bures Hamlet (Essex) is ahead of the bus. The Chambers business, established in 1877, was based in Bures St. Mary but since acquisition by Go-Ahead the buses work from a base in Sudbury.

Thursday 24 September 2015 (1137) – The business of H C Chambers and Son Limited was acquired by Go-Ahead in May/June 2012. A bus added to the fleet since the takeover is 1511 (YN55 PZP), an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD new to Metrobus (also Go-Ahead owned) in February 2006. It was seen passing the old Chambers garage and office in the main street of Bures, Suffolk. Whilst the bus business was sold I believe the Chambers family retained ownership of the property. Go-Ahead now operates the business from a base in Sudbury.

Wednesday 19 August 2015 (1635) - Anglian Bus 458 (YN05 HFH) seen leaving Beccles for Great Yarmouth on the 1635 service 81. A Scania N94UB OmniCity new to Metrobus in April 2005. Both Metrobus and Anglian Bus are Go-Ahead owned.

Burtons Coaches Optare Solo W442 CWX seen at Lidgate Pond when operating service 225 from Newmarket to Haverhill. It was new to Crystals of Dartford in April 2000.

Wednesday 8 August 2007 (approx 1720) - Burtons Coaches Optare Solo W427 CWX seen outside St. Mary's Church in Barton Mills when working the 1715 hrs Mildenhall-Newmarket service 401. It had been new in April 2000 as an Optare demonstrator and then when to Metrobus, Orpington to operate on Transport for London services. It was then acquired by the TGM Group and served with various TGM subsidiaries including Classic of Annfield Plain and Burtons Coaches.

Thursday 30 April 2015 (1407) – A former Anglian Bus Scania OmniCity YN03 WRP seen at Luton Station Interchange. I didn’t record who operates it now. Scania CN93UB was new to Metrobus (number 540) in August 2003. It had operated on both the Crawley guided bus services (blue and silver livery) and Transport for London services (red livery) before being transferred to Anglian – both companies owned by the Go-Ahead Group.

Friday 13 July 2012 (1342) - Stephensons of Essex Limited V415 KMY, an East Lancs bodied Dennis Trident new to Metrobus in August 1999. Seen being prepared for towing away by from Bury St Edmunds bus station by a Volvo tow truck of Manchetts from Burwell (FH02 TOW). After adjustments were made the bus was lowered somewhat before departure.
