Saturday 4 July 2015 (1321) – Rosso is now the trading name of Rossendale Transport. Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE 215 (PO59 MLX) is seen at Rochdale Interchange working service 468 to Bury via Fairfield Hospital.

Saturday 4 July 2015 (1345) – Rosso is now the trading name of Rossendale Transport. Wright bodied Scania K230UB 234 (YN57 FWK), seen at Rochdale Interchange, was new to Reading Transport (1034) in November 2007. An Optare Solo stands behind. The building on the right stands where the Yelloway Travel Bureaus once stood at the end of Weir Street.

Sunday 5 July 2015 (1326) – Rosso (Rossendale Transport) 243 (YJ07 PBV) seen in St. James Street, Bacup passing the ‘Yelloway 100’ road run. It is a Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE new to Lancashire United in April 2007 which was working the Rochdale to Accrington service 464.

Sunday 5 July 2015 (1326) – Rosso (Rossendale Transport) 243 (YJ07 PBV) seen in Bacup when working the Rochdale to Accrington service 464. The bus stops for both directions of this service are on the same side of the street (behind the camera on the right). Rochdale bound buses simply travel through the town but Accrington bound buses have first to turn at the roundabout facing back towards Rochdale in order to pickup. Having done so the bus then pulls away making a U-turn in order to continue on its way. It is a Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE new to Lancashire United in April 2007.

Saturday 4 July 2015 (1350) – Rosso is now the trading name of Rossendale Transport with a new colour scheme. Optare Solo 55 (YJ05 JWD) carries the Rosso name but remains in the earlier livery. It is seen entering Rochdale Interchange from Smith Street. The Metrolink tram station stands across the background.

Thursday 26 March 2015 (1649) - A sunny evening in Barton Mills with a Mulleys Motorways Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian setting down on a combined school related public service from Bury St. Edmunds. Mulleys operate two buses like this which were new to Rossendale Transport in August 1994 (M529/530 RHG).

Thursday 26 March 2015 (1649) - A sunny evening in Barton Mills with a Mulleys Motorways Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian. It had worked an afternoon run from Bury St Edmunds (a combined school related public service) and was now returning to Ixworth.. Mulleys operated two buses like this which were new to Rossendale Transport in August 1994 (M529/530 RHG).

Saturday 13 June 2009 (0700) – Mulleys Motorways Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian (either M529 RHG or M530 RHG acquired from Rossendale Transport) with destination sign set to Glasgow! Hidden behind the company Peugeot van.

Friday 10 February 2012 (0905) - Mulleys Motorways Limited M530 RHG, an Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian, seen in Bury St Edmunds after working the 0735 service 955 from West Row and Mildenhall. New to Rossendale Transport in August 1994 as their number 30.

Wednesday 23 May 2012 (0718) – Mulleys Motorways M530 RHG and M529 RHG seen at Mildenhall bus station prior to working school services into Bury St Edmunds. M530 RHG was en route to West Row to work the 0735 service 955 and M529 RHG was en route to Worlington to work the 0735 service 956. Both were originally new as Rossendale Transport numbers 30 and 29 respectively in August 1994.

Saturday 4 May 2013 (0838) – There are days when a Transport Manager’s lot is bad and then there are days when a Transport Manager’s lot is very bad!! One of those days today when unusual substitutions had to occur resulting in Mulleys Motorways M529 RHG having to cover Bury St. Edmunds town services M11/M22 for a while until things got sorted out. The Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian is seen swinging out of the bus stands in the bus station on service M11.
