Wednesday 15 June 2016 (1605) – An Arriva North East (Arriva Northumbria) Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL seen travelling along the road from Thropton to Rothbury alongside the River Coquet (pronounced ‘Coke it’). This was the 1548 service X14 from Thropton to Morpeth and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Wednesday 15 June 2016 (2003) – The last bus of the day out of Rothbury, Northumberland. Arriva North East 1764 (NK05 GWC), a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart (MPD), seen picking up outside the Queens Head working the 1958 service X14 from Thropton which terminates at Morpeth bus station. Throughout the day the X14 runs through to Newcastle-upon-Tyne via Morpeth until 1658. The three trips thereafter terminate at Morpeth.
