Saturday 3 May 2014 (1006) - Mulleys Motorways Optare Solo MX57 HDH arriving on town service M44 (with the screen set for its next trip as service M55). It was new in Sept 2007 to Nightingale Coaches (Johnson) of Greencroft, Annfield Plain, County Durham.

Wednesday 30 Sept 2009 (1140) – On Monday 28 Sept Mulleys Motorways Ltd commenced operation of their circular service M44 in Bury St Edmunds using two Optare Solos. MX57 HDH, seen in St Andrew’s Street South, was new in Sept 2007 to Nightingale Coaches (Johnson) of Greencroft, Annfield Plain, County Durham.

Saturday 3 November 2012 (1143) – The mobile phone of a teenage girl, a passenger on Mulleys Motorways Bury St Edmunds town service M88, slid beneath the seat on which she was sitting at the rear of BMC Falcon YN54 VLE. In trying to retrieve it she got her fingers stuck beneath the moulded seat and the fitting that holds the seat in place. Consequently the fire brigade were called to free her. Soon after she was released they retrieved the phone and re-united it with her. Another Mulleys bus, Optare Solo MX57 HDH, is seen in this picture departing on town service M44 and on the left is Stephensons Scania/Irizar 203 (OW03 LFL) working service X14 to Ipswich.

Sunday 4 November 2012 (0857) – The day Sunday bus services returned to Bury St Edmunds with four different services (851-854) sponsored by Suffolk County Council. Mulleys Motorways Optare Solo’s CN56 FDU and MX57 HDH stand in the bus station prior to working their first runs. The 851 and 854 was worked by the former and the 852 and 853 by the latter. (Mulleys operated the contracted Sunday services until Sunday 30 March 2014. Coach Services Limited took over the following Sunday).

Wednesday 15 February 2012 (approx 1255) - Mulleys Motorways MX57 HDH is an Optare Solo 920SL (9.2 metres long slimline model), seen in St Andrew’s Street South, Bury St Edmunds. It was new in Sept 2007 to Nightingale Coaches (Johnson) of Greencroft, Annfield Plain, County Durham. This photograph was that used on the cover of the new timetable leaflet commencing in March 2012.
