Wednesday 20 April 2016 (1227) – Sat outside the Walnut Tree in Worlington drinking a pint of Woodforde’s Wherry on a pleasant sunny Spring day as Stephensons of Essex 463 (YX11 CTU) went by. It was working the 1148 Newmarket to Bury St Edmunds service 16 via Mildenhall. An Alexander Dennis Enviro200 branded ‘Suffolk Rider’ with rear end advertising for local radio station RWSfm 103.3.

Showbus, Sunday 21 September 2014 - Oxford Bus Company (Go-Ahead) 602 (UK14 OXF), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 hybrid in a livery for services to Brookes University. New in September 2014 it is one of 20 latest hybrid buses featuring Gyrodrive technology. The system uses a carbon fibre flywheel to store energy generated as the bus slows down. The stored energy is then used to power an electric motor that helps accelerate the bus generating fuel savings.

On February 1 2013 the bus and coach operations of SCC were transferred over to a new joint venture company named Suffolk Norse jointly owned by SCC and Norse Commercial Services.

Thursday 18 September 2014 (1338) – Stagecoach (United Counties) 15936 (YN63 BYB), a ‘Stagecoach Gold’ branded Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in September 2013. Seen in Church Street, Wellingborough when working the 1120 service X47 from Northampton to Thrapston.

Thursday 18 September 2014 (1408) – Stagecoach (United Counties) 15739 (KX61 DKU), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in November 2011, seen in Market Street, Wellingborough when working service 45 to Irthlingborough. Service 45,operated by Kettering garage, isn't classed as a ‘Stagecoach Gold’ branded service although the bus here is of that standard.

Thursday 18 September 2014 (1445) – Stagecoach (United Counties) 15747 (KX61 DLO), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD seen in Church Street, Wellingborough. Branded for the 'Stagecoach Gold' service X4 which links Peterborough and Milton Keynes.

Thursday 18 September 2014 (1504) – The view from the front upper deck seat of Stagecoach (United Counties) 15938 (YN63 BYD) as it travelled through the bus and taxi lane between Church Street and Market Street, Wellingborough. This slip through is restricted to local buses and taxis between 0900 and 1630 Monday to Saturday. The lowering of the bollards is activated by a signal from a transponder mounted on the bus. The bus is a ‘Stagecoach Gold’ branded Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD in September 2013 was operating the 1344 service X47 from Thrapston to Northampton. (Running approx. 10 minutes late).

Saturday 31 August 2013 (1210) - From Monday 2 September 2013 Stephensons of Essex revised their Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall service 16 linking it with their Mildenhall to Newmarket services 400/401. The new link was numbered 16 and branded ‘Suffolk Rider’. Route branding had already been applied to Alexander Dennis Enviro200 463 (YX11 CTU) in readiness for the launch day. It was seen here in St Andrew’s Street, Bury St Edmunds having arrived on service 15 from Haverhill. The rear end carries advertising for a local radio station.

Monday 17 September 2012 (approx 1358) - Grant Palmer Limited, Flitwick, Bedfordshire, YX11 HPU, an Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 - originally a demonstrator, seen at Harrold (Institute) having worked the 1330 service 25 from Bedford and ready to work 1405 service 25 back to Bedford. The bus carries lettering for the service and the logo of Bedford Borough Council which sponsors the service.

Monday 9 July 2012 (1410) - Grant Palmer Limited, Flitwick, Bedfordshire, YX11 HPU, an Alexander Dennis Enviro 200, seen in the Bedfordshire village of Harrold when working the 1405 service 25 to Bedford. This bus may have been a former Alexander Dennis demonstrator new in August 2011.
