Though the ticket for this skiing season is valid until may, the passion is flown away. Today we terminated the season at that place, where it had begun - together with my son, who captured this picture. ~~~~~ Die Saisonkarte ist zwar noch bis zum Mai gültig, aber nach 4 Monaten Skisaison ist "die Luft raus". Zum Abschluss waren wir heute mit meinem Sohn, der gerade zu Besuch ist, noch einmal dort, wo der Winter für uns begann: (Foto oben: C. Westrup, Helsinki)

Ascending to the Kitzsteinhorn without those red cable cars is impossible in wintertime. The difference of altitude is nearly 2.200 meters, and there is no way throught the dangerous cliffs. ~~~~~ Das Kitzsteinhorn erreicht man im Winter ausschließlich mit der roten Gondelbahn. Es gibt keine sichere Tourenskiroute, mit der man die fast 2.200 Höhenmeter durch das hochalpine Gelände bewältigen könnte.
