After the first large snowfall in the Eastern Alps we drove to Kals on Thursday morning at 5 o'clock to take a picture of the freshly snowed in Großglockner. It should be sunny. From the Taurerwirt in Kals we climbed through the Daberklamm and the Dorfertal to the Tauernhaus. From there we went on to the summit of Spinevitrol (2.483m), which is an excellent viewpoint of the Glocknergruppe from the west. But the clouds only gave a view to the Gamsspitze (3.156m) with the Fruschnitzkees . And also that for only a few minutes. ~~~~~ Nach dem ersten großen Schneefall in den Ostalpen sind wir Donnerstagmorgen um 5 Uhr nach Kals gefahren, um ein Bild vom frisch eingeschneiten Großglockner zu schießen. Es sollte sonnig werden. Vom Taurerwirt in Kals sind wir durch die Daberklamm und das Dorfertal zum Tauernhaus aufgestiegen. Von dort ging es weiter auf den Gipfel des Spinevitrol (2.483m), der ein hervorragender Aussichtspunkt auf die die Glocknergruppe von Westen ist. Die Wolken haben aber nur den Blick auf die vorgelagerte Gamsspitze (3.156m) mit dem Fruschnitzkees freigegeben. Und auch das für nur für wenige Minuten.
