A Night Walk Down By The River: A small lizard waiting on this bank held still even for a flash picture. Now a provisional identification thanks to Maria. The genus name describes a slender toe species, which is not like the conventional view of a Gecko with flattened toes.

Lizards are everywhere in the Caribbean, and there are numerous species throughout the islands. This common little one had taken an interest in Moths which were in my Keep Net from the previous night's trapping, but was perplexed that it couldn't find a way in for an easy lunch.
