A Peppered Moth (Biston betularia) larva found in my garden feeding on Willow (Salix magnifica), Shrewsbury, Shropshire, August 2025. This is a stack of fifteen images taken outside in my garden where the caterpillar was found. Light is natural sunlight. Stack was made using DMAP in Zerene, other processing, resizing etc by The Gimp. The image is uncropped.

A Peppered Moth larva on Sallow in my garden. This one appears to be about to shed its skin. Natural light and uncropped.
