Advertising panel of the Pottery Factory of Sacavém, famous all over the country. Built in 1850 at Sacavém (council of Loures), northern outskirts of Lisbon, it closed definitely in 1994, after the bankrupcy declaration by a court. The photo was taken at Conselheiro Cabral Metello Square, Oliveira do Hospital.

"Seiras" are a sort of soft circular vegetal matts, that are compressed after the introduction of olives between consecutive "seiras". The oil thus obtained drains into recipients. This can be seen in the Olive Oil Museum of Bobadela, Oliveira do Hospital.
