Used by the Talayotic civilization to bury the remains of corpses, after totally decomposed on top of taulas. This can be seen at Poblat de Binissafúllet, southeast of Menorca.

Centuries before Christ, corpses were disposed on top of taulas for complete decomposition. When nothing but the skeleton and some skin was left, they were removed and buried in funerary chambers. This can be seen at Poblat de Binissafúllet, southeast of Menorca.
