Seen from Avenida Montero Ríos, Pontevedra. It was a Dominican convent, built in 1281, with the church added in the 17th century. In the 19th century both were destroyed and the material used in other buildings and pavement. In 1895 the ruins were listed as monument (a bit late) and decay didn't get any worse ever since.
