The idea popped into my head while I was enjoying another listen to Charlie Parker: Live At The Royal Roost . So naturally the colors and canvas proportions came more or less from the LP's cover. Yes, I know Parker didn't play the tenor. But I didn't have all that many images of musical instruments in my swipe file. :o I did give it that white tint as a nod to his famous plastic Grafton, though. Shown smaller than the original finished size of 2539 X 2539 pixels. One of several original sources is viewable here .

"Artistic: Cut Paper" at 25% opacity in Color Burn mode, over a layer of "Blur: Gaussian Blur" at 65% in Difference Mode. The layer below that is a 100% layer of "Sketch: Stamp" in black and white. Some "Pixelate: Color Halftone" on the olive and some "Brush Strokes: Crosshatch" on the dress. Other touch-ups and corrections.

The background has three different settings of "Sketch: Graphic Pen." Starting small at the top and increasing in length towards the bottom. The mode is (probably) Overlay. The faces have some Stroke and a low percentage of the "Noise: Add Noise" filter. Other small touch-ups.

The background filter is "Texture: Mosaic Tiles," run while the card was turned at a 45 degree angle. The types and breakfast are different percentages and modes of "Sketch: Bas Relief." Other small changes and corrections.
