Ana Popović and her band did a great performance on stage in Cahors. Ana, born in Serbia and now living in the US, is a well established guitar slinger on the "Planet Blues" since about 2000. As the only female "guitar-hero" Ana was added to All Star Experience Hendrix lineup, a US-tour celebrating the music of Jimi Hendrix. She blends electric funk, jazzy slide guitar and and a tight blues groove. After about an hour a very "special guest" guest joined the "Ana Popović" Band: American blues-rock guitarist Eric Gales. Eric was taught by his brothers and was known as a child prodigy ("The Gale Brothers"). Eric plays plays a right-handed guitar upside-down, even though he is not left-handed.
