Passed the hamlet Saint-Christaud, saw the chateau and took a break inside the church of Saint-Christaud. That was probably permitted, as the church erected around 1250 by "Antonins" (aka "Hospital Brothers of St. Anthony") to provide shelter to the pilgrims.
I was heading for Marciac, though I was told, that this would not be a good place to stay, as "tout le monde" would be in Marciac tonight. Well, I did not believe that. Why on earth should "everybody" be in Marciac tonight? I know, that people say "always trust the locals", but..
About an hour later I met a Lady with shell on her backpack. She looked like an experienced walker and I learned, that she had walked out of Berlin (!!) more than three months ago - and since then, had walked every day. We walked together to Monlezun, where she stayed. Somebody had told her, that Marciac...
