Montégut - Le Château de Montégut

Later that afternoon I reached Montégut a village just two kilometers east of Auch. I had recovered from my "sun stroke", that had created such visions like grinning Llamas and communicating sunflowers. It was a little windy meanwhile now and so the conditiones had greatly improved. Near the church I met a guy, who had started his walk in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. He stayed in Montégut, while I continued to Auch. P.S. Dont worry! There was no sun stroke, I just had some heat related Fata Morganas.

Near Montégut

An hour later in the boiling heat, after having bowed back to dozends of greeting sunflowers, after two ostriches, a grinning Llama and a munching tree - I saw this sunflower. This sunflower unmistakeably displays the letters U, K and I, what reads "uki". This sunflower obviously knew me!! I knew this word! How could the gargantuan swarm intelligence of the whole field lead to this? This was more than just weird. I was totally puzzled. Uki is not only a place in New South Wales, that I had visited decades ago, but -more important to me- is a maori-word, used in the polynesian dialect spoken in the Cook-Islands. How could this sunflower know? I poured a bottle of lukewarm water over my head, looked to the flower again - and took this photo.
