As Storm Benjamin tracks across the North Sea it will pull much colder air down from the North, which will give a sharp cold snap, especially in the Northern parts of the UK, over the weekend 25/26th October 2025. The UK's Met Office have issued Yellow warnings for wind and rain in southern England and west Wales, the source of these affects was named "Tempeste Benjamin" by Meteo France yesterday as the storm track is predicted to be more southerly ie over France than La Manche. [The Met Office re-issued these to cover a somewhat reduced areas, in East Anglia / SE England, later on Thursday, 21st October 2025, after observing Benjamin's progress].
