There looks to be a cave up on the heights. Dovedale [Peak District] is narrow valley carved into limestone, probably by glacial meltwater - although I suspect some of the valley was caused by caves / tunnels collapsing. Missed it ! I was very surprised to see what I thought was an example of Lepus europaeus [hare] sitting, then running, across the slope (about level with the top of this tree).
