Adult mallard (possibly a male in "eclipse" plumage) lying down on the job. Several very young ducklings, and another adult, were foraging a very short distance away.

Mallard duckling investigating to see if anything is edible or drinkable. Parent birds and siblings were a few feet away on a similar mission.
