Not an expert on bogies, but this is a chunky example.

one of the four wheel flat waggons in Gloucester Docks, this example is unrestored. It is outside and really should have been treated with an anti-fungal / pesticide chemical treatment and a wood hardner to stabilise the current condition. There is a restored / replicated example nearby.

small. but heavily built timber "bogie" - a four wheel flat waggon. Built to carry items around the docks, but this restored / replicated example is used for the dredger information board (there is an un-restored one nearby). The item just to the left is a waggon turntable.

Dockside steam crane. It is in working order, but is confined to a very short length of track. Some young visitors seemed fascinated by the technology.
Details summarised from the panel.
Built by William Balmforth (Rodley, Leeds) about 1880 with a capacity of one ton (ie the modern term is swl , safe working load) It is typical of the type of crane used on canal wharves. This example was originally working at Kirkstall Forge, Leeds and has been restored with the help of the friends of the Museum.
glo[16] - iron / steel boat

Seen at the Waterways Museum in Gloucester Docks. This steel / iron hull was an ice-breaker barge from the Sharpness canal - the shape of the bows and girder/rail re-inforcement as well as that of the hull allows it to ride up onto the ice and the weight crushes the ice and so breaks it up. It is resting on the torpedo flat waggon.

Liveried as a Manchester Ship Canal brake van, representing the vehicles that would have been trundling around the docks in Gloucester and the Sharpness Canal. It is due to move elsewhere, in a few months.
According to the Vintage Carriages Trust this is an ex-GWR Toad, DW35342; in Manchester Ship Canal livery, branded 'Ellesmere Port'.
