Headboard carried by double Fairlie "Earl of Merioneth" aka "The Square" on the last day of service before withdrawal. The loco has been stored.

The Double Fairlie "Earl of Merioneth" departing from TanyBwlch with a train to Porthmadog. This loco was built at Boston Lodge in 1979, with some design considerations that resulted in a "boxy" appearance, which in turn gave it the nickname "The Square". It does have a considerable fan club.

The James Spooner model hiding in the depths of the pattern store. The carrying case lid has been lifted off to the rear so pictures can be taken. The model is currently getting some tlc.
