A pair of C-130 aircraft dropping paras, presumably on a training exercise [probably over Salisbury Plain] ... I never saw this personally, but I probably saw the flights for this type of exercise leaving RAF Lyneham when I was a teenager. . Not my Image ; fair use & public education

Another C-130 heading past my house ! So distinctive, the sound of these trundling across the sky.

This C-130 was a bit further away than the usual flight path ... and although I could hear it, my view had been obscured by low cloud !

This low-flying helicopter just popped out from behind the row of trees, the weather is steadily getting worse as the cloud base drops down and the wind / rain increase. As often happens, I could hear him well before I saw him, but not sure who / what he is nor where he's going ...

Looks to be heading South West (ish)

Ah, there you are ! I thought I could hear those engines ...

I am sure that the RAF 'Hercules' are afraid of heights, because they seem to fly around here at this sort of altitude a lot.
