WW1 - Sopwith 5F.1 "Dolphin" was developed quite late in WW1, did have some drawbacks, but did prove to be a formidable fighter with the right pilot. No complete examples survived, this was built with a number of original parts. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sopwith_Dolphin

The former Clyde class lifeboat "Charles H Barrett ( C.S. No.35 )" 70-001 built 1965 ON987. On trials 1966-68, then stationed at Clovelly (mostly) with a "Staff Cox'n" until 1975 to cover the Bristol Channel, followed by a spell in the relief fleet which lasted to 1988 before being sold out of service. . Currently answers to "Dolphin" and is registered to Rotterdam.

On trials 1966-68, then stationed at Clovelly (mostly) with a "Staff Cox'n" until 1975 to cover the Bristol Channel, followed by a spell in the relief fleet which lasted to 1988 before being sold out of service. . Currently answers to "Dolphin" and is registered to Rotterdam. The signwriting is of excellent standard.
