I suspect that those pipes conceal Archimedean Screws, as they are quite efficient for shifting water uphill. {correct - 2m diameter & max capacity of 0,75 cum/secs} I now have to work out where they are ! Not too far from Horsey, if I remember correctly. A Little Research has told me that this is the Norton & Raveningham Pumping Station - rebuilt 2023 / 2024, on the River Yare, near Reedham, which protects the inhabitants of 788 acres of low-lying land. . Plenty of gates & fences keeping wandering humans and other animals out of the compounds.
