Hickins' has a few interesting features ... Today, Table 9 is adorned with cats for the condiments. We came by for a snack / quick lunch and then to give Ben de-Dog a short walk, he's getting to be too old and arthritic to do longer walks, unless the route is almost flat. [He managed about half a mile today quite happily, and another, much shorter walk later on - although the second one had a bit of a steep climb involved]

That's gotta hurt, kittens aren't always careful with their claws when climbing, especially when food might be involved. [one of my cats was re-maned "Hilli" after Sir Edmund Hillary - who climbed Everest - after her ability to do this sort of thing, so I can sympathise]. Not my image ; Fair use & entertainment
