Once a common sight in some areas, this example of a "Tin Tabernacle" dates from 1898. It was originally built with support from the Midland Railway Company, in a community that grew around the MR locomotive shed. It was re-located from Westhouses, Derbyshire, after being declared redundant in the 1990s and rebuilt by June 2011. www.midlandrailway-butterley.co.uk/swanwick-junction/st-saviours-church
