Very nicely turned out Lister LD1 Autotruck. These trucks are not fitted with a reverse gear - to go backwards you turn the whole engine assembly around - that's the reason for that circular rail.

Very nicely turned out Lister LD1 Autotruck. The predecessor to forklifts ! I remember seeing one of these towing a "train" of wire-framed containers, mostly filled with parcels and mailsacks on a large railway station when I was a teenager.
