I know it's quite a few years since I last visited, but the amount of tree growth did surprise me a little. The little side valley has almost disappeared.

View from the observation deck [just above & behind the bridge] as Ben-my-Chree approaches Douglas Bay, Isle of Man. I think the mainly white buildings framed by the aerial array are on Onchan Head, with Douglas further to the left.

DJC at the viewpoint marker, beyond is a trig point [pillar] and one of the radio masts [NATS]. On a clear day like this, one can see six kingdoms - The Isle of Man, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Manannan [or Neptune].

Various fences, a gate and loads of seats, at The Bents, Whitburn, nr Sunderland. It was a bit breezy, so quite cool and most people had gone home for their teas ...
