White cherry blossom, with an added bee. e2a - the bees did a good job this year, if the number of developing cherries is anything to go by ! I should really take a picture of them.

Blossom on the Bramley Apple tree - an old variety of cooking apple, much favoured by experienced cooks. When we moved in, this tree seemed to be afflicted by "bitter pit" disease but some judicious feeding & pruning seem to have done the trick and we've had some bumper crops in recent years.

Plenty of apple blossom ! Hopefully we'll have a good crop [these are cookers, probably Bramley, from the way they behave / age of the tree]

Fan-trained cherry in flower.

Just opened blossom and leaves, with a few more buds, on a branch of the flowering sweet cherry. I don't know the actual variety, other than it may have been planted and first trained as much as 40 years ago.
