In late May 2025, I spent some time on buying and then planting up a selection of "pretties" in a range of containers, intending to brighten up this corner of the front garden. This was the initial result, and needs a little more work to achieve the 3D affect I want. The tree is actually an ancient elder bush ... and, yes, the grass is very parched. [e2a - a couple of days later, it did rain ...]
