Interesting shape - sadly the plate telling the observer about this sculpture is missing.

This Horse's Head sculpture marks the starting point of the Town Trail in Llanfair Caereinion.
The Welshpool & Llanfair railway station is just out of shot to the left.
[to my eyes, that was inspired by "War Horse" see the images in this wiki piece on the play of the same name en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Horse_(play) ]

I had to look twice at the bird - this piece of public street art is a mock-up of a riverside mooring, with a cormorant in their typical "wing drying" pose on top.
I've seen this design of mini-gabions as bench and table legs several times - at least they can't be chucked around ...

Another "Borrowdale slate Banksy" has been spotted.
Borrowdale Banksy is an anonymous producer of slate sculptures, in the English Lake District.
Whoever this person is, they are very skilled with slate & dry stone walling methods.

Seal and pup sculpture on the promenade at South Queensferry.
Real ones are quite a common sight in the Firth, indeed the trip boats have seal watching trips available.
