La persiana è un particolare tipo d'infisso che serve a proteggere una finestra. A differenza dello scuro è fatta da stecche, fisse od orientabili, inclinate in modo da far passare la luce, ma fermare la pioggia e il vento, proteggere dalla luce eccessiva e dal calore senza impedire la circolazione dell'aria.
