A view across the Cromarty Firth from the village of Cromarty on the Black Isle. The North Sea jack-up drilling rig is unidentified but has been stacked here in the Firth waiting for another contract to drill for oil and gas. HWW to everyone. Enjoy the day.

An early morning view of the three semi-submersibles and one jack-up drilling rigs stacked in the Cromarty Firth seen from near the ferry in Nigg. The closest is the Noble Endeavor which was built in 1976 so is pretty old and has been here since 9th December 2024.
