We stayed at the Hotel Molino Del Arco north of Ronda. Despite the rain the gardens were lovely. HFF to everyone. Enjoy the start of the new week.

A RENFE diesel multiple unit arrives from the east into Ronda station. I believe it is the 12.06 to Algiceras but it was running late. There are only 3 platforms at Ronda station but they are numbered 3, 5 and 7. Very strange! HBM to everybody. Enjoy the start of the new week.

The former Malaga Suburban Railway terminus is located by the port which is off left of this view of the city-facing facade of the building. The statue on the left is in honour of Jose P Rizal a famous Philippino writer and Nationalist. The metre gauge line from Malaga port opened in the early 20th century to serve trains to Coin, Ventas de Zafarrya and Fuengirola. All but the coast line to Fuengirola closed in the 1960s. The port station closed completely when the Fuengirola route was rebuilt to Iberian gauge as the Cercanías Málaga in 1975 running from María Zambrano station and re-routed through Málaga Airport. The station building is now occupied by the International University of Andalusia. HWW to everyone. Have a great day

Strangers on the Shore.

I spotted this unusual bench off the C. Marqués de Larios in Malaga's old town. The two gents holding it up didn't seem to mind when we sat on it... HBM to everyone. Enjoy the start of the new week.
