The view from our evening train near Tai Po as we journeyed from Kowloon on the KCR into the New Territories & Sheung Shui station. The line ran close by the waterside at this point giving beautiful views of the bay & mountains. They are sadly no longer so available as the New Territories Circular Road (Tolo Highway) has been built right in front of the railway... Lots of people on the beach here but they look like they are searching for their seafood dinner rather than sunbathing!. The low hill in front of the mountain is now obliterated by The Beverley Hills development.

Flame-red Fuchsia grows everywhere in the west of Ireland. Looking north from Valentia Island the Blasket Islands and the Dingle Peninsula are on the horizon. A beautiful part of the world. HFF to everyone. Enjoy the weekend.

A sailing boat passing the lighthouse near the mouth of Sydney bay. We spent a week in Sydney back in 1979 en route to Medan in Sumatra. Having said that I'm not sure which lighthouse this is. Any ideas? Thanks to Graham I now realise this is Hornby lighthouse and the pic was taken from the harbour cruise ship.
