Buxton is a spa town in the High Peak in Derbyshire and is England's highest market town at 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level. Buxton Baths seen here used natural thermal spring water & date back to Roman times. They were the basis for developing Buxton as a Georgian and Victorian spa town. HBM to everyone. The ancient market town of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire lies to the northwest of the Cotswold Hills, but just outside the boundary, & features many Medieval and Tudor buildings. We took a ride to Denia on FGV's (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana) metre gauge line on Monday. It was another perfect Spanish November day, temperature in the low-20ºs and the sky blue . This is a view along Carrer Sant Francesc in Denia old town with the castle walls in the distance. HWW to everyone. Have a great day.

New Orleans tramcar number 922 glides along the central reservation on St Charles heading through the Garden District towards downtown. When we lived here I either walked into the office or took this tram which was a real buzz, given the alternative commuting options. The subtropical nature of southern Louisiana is clear from this view. The palm trees thrived in the hot & humid climate. For a few weeks in January/February it could get cold as the weather fronts, normally stalled in the north of the state, pushed through. Then very occasionally even a frost was possible which killed the banana trees instantly although the palms were sturdier.

A view of Gevers Deynootweg from the 5th floor of the Badhotel with HTM tram 3146 (GTL8-II, built at Brugge, 1993) on a number 1 service from Zwartepad to Delft Tanthof via Hollandspoor railway station. This the longest route (approx. 20 km) on the HTM system. The Dutch national flag flies from the impressive dome of the Kurhaus hotel which overlooks the beach & seafront.

The patisserie on Rue de l'Eglise is an inviting beacon in the pre-dawn half-light of Bollezeele town centre. The fence around the bell tower of Église Saint-Wandrille is silhouetted against the blue sky. HFF and have great & peaceful weekend.
