I know I have posted images of the Penyal d'Ifac before but the rock wall dominates the town & port of Calpe and looks great from all angles. Rising to 332 metres high, the rock is a striking visual feature of the Mediterranean coastline. Historically it was known to the Phoenicians as the Northern Rock, to distinguish it from its southern counterpart, the Rock of Gibraltar. HWW to everyone. Enjoy the day!

I have photographed sunrises & sunsets over Penyal d'Ifac - the Phoenicians' Northern Rock (Gibraltar is the Southern Rock) - many times but I finally made the effort to climb it last Friday. An early start meant that I got to see the Rock silhouetted against the pre-dawn sky from the beach front. HBM to everyone. Enjoy the start to the new week.
