A vintage tourist pamphlet advertising Mitchell's Havana tours. The itenerary included the obligatory visit to a cigar factory, a rum distillery, the alligator factory, and finally dinner and a show at the Tropicana Night Club. A historical oddity of sorts, the flyer is circa 1955 - just one year before Cuba fell sway to the Castro regime!

Better known as T.V.'s Charlie Weaver, Civil War buff Cliff Arquette opened a museum in the 1950's devoted to military history in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
You may have even seen his granddaughters - Rosanna and Patricia - on the silver screen.

This vintage travel brochure for excursions around Manhattan got the full-blown patriotic treatment - a red, white, and blue palette; vignettes of servicemen; and Lady Liberty to boot!

This 1960 travel brochure deserved its bold and festive treatment, based on its destination - post-Castro Havana before the embargo!

You gotta love an old travel brochure that touts the 'CD approved' logo! If the Soviets attack while you're on vacation and you happen to be touring the caves, you'll be saved from nuclear armageddon. Hooray! Just stay put for a few months, and, oh yeah, don't dring too much of that trickling water there...
