Lyme Regis can be seen through the branches across the bay.

This tree stands at Thorncombe Beacon near Eype. It's remarkably straight and sturdy for a tree in such an exposed position. I love the way its branches have been shaped by the wind, and the revealed strata in the cliff.

The hedge had just been laid. I wanted to show how the process has resulted in a strong stock-proof barrier, and how the still-growing branches knit together.
