Hidden high in the Mayacamas Mountains is an enchanted vineyard, fenced away from all but a special few who know the magical elixir produced from the nectar of it’s grapes. A fierce civil war rages in the Wine Country of California similar to the Wars of the Roses fought in England during the 1400's between the supporters of two rival branches of the royal House of Plantagenet (the House of Lancaster, associated with a red rose, and the House of York, with a white rose). Battle lines have been drawn with the whites having the high ground and the reds controlling the lower regions. At stake is the claim of supremacy over the entire Napa-Sonoma region. The conflict has waxed and waned for decades with precious red and white wine needlessly spilled. When will the madness finally end?!
