It is a rock-hard life for those few trees that have managed to eek out an existence in this rigid environment. This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a Super-Takumar/6X7 1:2.4/105 lens and Promaster Y2 ø67 filter using Rollei RPX 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
