It's fun to fool around with the shallow depth of field on a macro lens. I found this lovely group of florets that created a natural bouquet and wanted to see if I could get crisp focus on just the one in front with the rest fading away into bokeh. :D

This morning I went out to take pictures but I really just wasn't in the mood. I wasn't surprised when none of the images were worth wasting time on. So, I deleted them all and went out again this afternoon when I WAS in the mood! I decided to go down to our seasonal pond to check on the water level because I will be saving all the tadpoles again! On the way I found this lovely natural bouquet of White Brodiaea flowers just off our gravel drive.
