My niece is at Sewanee Music Festival for the next month, playing harp, and requested mail--so I made her four postcards featuring harps. The image of "Owen" is originally from the National Library of Wales uploads to Flickr Commons; the image of Adele Girard is from the Library of Congress uploads to Flickr Commons. All the postcards are made from recycled boxes, paper collage, paint, sharpies, inks, and gold paint pens.

Found this postcard at the Long Beach Flea Market last summer. The back says: "Downing New Mexico Abt 1912 or 13 Grandma Pat, age abt 11 or 12 & little playmate Martin Weinhomer We used to play indians & cowboys in a Teepee I built in our back yard - or go skating together he was about 8 & lonely too-- " Can't find any reference to a Martin Weinhomer out there, but if you know more about him or Pat, I'd love to hear about them.
