Longer view of the crocheted insert along the side seam of a thrifted blouse I altered for better fit (and also because it was fun). Thrifted crochet cotton, too.

Added a crochet insert along one of the curving seams, in green and purple; also added chained loops of the purple on the back of the ruffle, to hide the back of the anchoring stitches. Now it fits, and I like it a lot too!
