I am not a particular motorbike fan but this Honda Valkyrie Tourer caught my eye on El Paseo, Palm Desert both for its smart condition and its British Columbia plates. Perhaps some enterprising soul (or two, as there were two helmets) had ridden it down, or perhaps it came behind an RV? 200_2_P1010733

It has many excellent exhibits displayed in a high standard of preservation but their density precludes most photography of individual vehicles. Two motorbikes near the entrance were backlit but, I think, of considerable interest. They are a Famous James, NAS731 and (just visible) Phelon & Moore Panther Redwing, YFF470. P1180381
