Puffin Island (Ynys Seiriol): This is the large, craggy island directly off the shore of Penmon. It lies roughly 0.5 miles from Penmon Point, sitting just beyond the Trwyn Du Lighthouse. It is uninhabited and serves as a major protected bird sanctuary. The Puffin have now flown back out to sea until next year when they return to breed

Penmon Dovecote: Built in the 16th century, this striking, domed stone structure was historically used to house hundreds of doves and pigeons for meat and eggs and by the monks.
