Scaleber Foss/Scaleber Force is a stunning, tumbling waterfall located a couple of miles outside Settle (it is accessed from the (very steep) Malham road). Driving from Settle to Malham, you wouldn't realise that you were just a few metres away from this stunning example of a Yorkshire Dales waterfall - but step over the wall and you are quickly greeted by the most incredible sound and sight of the crashing water. Another from Scaleber Force. Scaleber Force is a stunning 40ft waterfall within Scaleber Wood Nature Reserve. The crystal clear waters of Stockdale Beck tumble over limestone cliffs before plunging into a deep pool.

Scaleber Force (also known as Scaleber Foss and Scaleber Waterfall), is a 40-foot (12 m) high waterfall on Stockdale Beck, later the Long Preston Beck, that feeds into the River Ribble between Settle and Long Preston in North Yorkshire, England.

Scaleber Force is situated in a deep wooded gorge near Settle and is without doubt one of the most attractive and atmospheric waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales.
