My youngest son and I went to see the Midland Pullman High speed train at Crewe station. We set of from our house at 0.725 to catch the 07.52 to Manchester Piccadilly and then the 09.27 Avanti west coast train to Crewe that was bound for London Euston. It was a treat for both of us on that train and we have promised ourselves to travel the full distance one day. The Midland Pullman arrived at Crewe at 10.25 and stayed there for about ten minutes to take on a change of staff, which meant that we had plenty of time to take some photographs.

A trip out to Stockport today, wife and daughter headed of to Primark and other such shops, while my youngest and myself headed off around the town. Food and a good nosey around the streets and buildings. I have done a day Urban sketching around Stockport but never spent a day with my camera, so this is now on my to do list.
