After seeing The Midland Pullman HST at Crewe my youngest son and I went to Crewe Heritage centre. A great place to look around with plenty of exhibits to get hands on, the chance to sit behind the controls and walk through old carriages was amazing. The café lead up to a viewing platform where we could sit and watch/photograph the trains going in and out of Crewe station. My son had one of our old DSLR cameras and he enjoyed capturing images on that rather than just using his phone. A thoroughly enjoyable day out and one I will certainly cherish as I suppose that they will get few and far as the years go by!
